A journey from name to profession

Hiiii everyone hope you all are enjoying the post!!!! This time i come with something different. It is not just a story to enjoy or to read; actually it is a life experience of a girl. The girl who wants to be something and also proved herself. Although the journey was not at all easy……….

There was a girl name Alak. She was really a cheering n joyful girl and use to live in a small town. The town doesn’t consist a good school or a proper basic facilities like hospitals etc. she has two more sisters. Her parents were not formally well educated.
Alak was very attached and dear to her father. It was the time to take a decision about the studies of the little girl. Father was in the opinion to let her study in English medium school but how because there were no school at all. Her mother was against as there were two more daughters and each has a right to get what the other two got. At last father decided to let them go for English medium school because the next generation needs full technology and high education. In this decision her parental aunt convinced  her mother. Her studies began……..She use to struggle to other big town for studies at the age of 6 years.
Time waits for none… she completed her pre-primary with the brilliant scores and made her parents feel proud. A very brilliant and talented girl came in further standards but by some friends, their groups , she got distracted. She doesn’t like to study at all, her score decreases month by month. Later with the help of good friends she understood her mistakes. Although she reslised her mistakes and came to the right path with the help of her friends, but the instance, energy and excitement of studies went off… By the time she had a very supportive and encouraging group but exams have to be written by yourself ,no one can help you. So, she can’t came back to her original scores of 90%+…….
Now the time comes when the examination are at a peak. As she had no motivation she just study at school n at tuitions. And in tuitions also use to came back earlier for her favourite serial. Due to this her mother had scolded her too. She had already decided that she want “Dr.” prior to her name. Her friends let her understand the importance of board exams in the achievement of her goal. And!!and the last three months of exams she just forgot everything and studies till late night n get up early morning. She churn herself towards her dream. Her exams had completed with a good satisfaction from the bottom of her heart. Now what a long vacation!!!
She was determined that she wants to go for science stream. But the school where she use to travel for secondary studies doesn’t have the faculties or staff for science stream. Therefore, if she wants to opt for science stream she has to shift to further big city which consist a proper staff team for science stream. Her relatives, society, nor her parents were convinced with her decision. There were only three person who believed in her dream. They were her two friends: Jignesh and Bhavin and her tution teacher. They help her to convince her parents and allow her to live in hostel for further studies. By the time the board results were announced and very proud of her results but the question still remains whether she would allowed to go in city for further studies????
Her father was a very open minded person and he allowed her little heart to go for further studies. “BEHIND EVERY SUCCESSFUL WOMAN THERE IS A GREAT FATHER.” She lives in hostel and study for accomplishing her dream. But one has to clear all test to achieve their desire. After 9 months she fall ill and have dengue fever with skin infection and all that stuff. Doctor hospitalized her and declared a complete bed rest for 1 month. Her father was very tensed related to her health and asked her mother to migrate to the city with other two daughters and make them study well and enhance their future. THE SACRIFICE THAT THEY BOTH HAD GIVEN TO GIVE A SUCCESSFUL LIFE TO THEIR CHILDERN WERE TO BE SALUTED.
Now the time comes of 12th science board exam… This time she was very well prepared and studied hard for the good scores. But destiny plays HIDE AND SEEK with her. When her hardwork in 10th was 50% she scored well but this time her hardwork was at the top, didn’t help her to get the best score needed for admission in MBBS. She scored only 68% marks. She must get atleast 90% scores for MBBS admission. The gates were like closed for her to pursue her dream. Suddenly a beam of ray comes in the darkness of room….. and that ray was THE PHYSIOTHERAPY. The physiotherapist is considered as a professional doctors and are allowed to have ‘dr.’ prior to names. It was the only scope for her; by anyhow she has to get the admission in the Gujarat’s 3rd best physiotherapy college which was fortunately in her city. Her father tried a lot and decided to even give donation to get her child admission in this college. Her maternal uncle was also very supportive and had too tried, but the admission process was centrally controlled. No donations or nothing can work there…….
It were 3 months of the date when results had announced, the days full of frustrations and tension. Finally there was an end to this all. After the 2nd reshuffling was announced she got the admission in the same college she wants for. Interestingly she got the admission on the basis ofmarks she scored not on the basis of donations or anything else. The happiness scrolled all around and the movements were likely to be very fascinating. And finally her college started with one more step ahead of her dream.
Slowly and gradually her college years were completing. She scores very well in the university exams. Almost with distinction or with first class. It was her last and final year, after the completion of  4 years one has to go for internship in a well certifited hospital for at least 6 months. Her last year exams were completed and she had decided to go for internship at Mumbai[Bombay]. She was trying a lot to get green signal from the well certified HINDUJA hospital of Mumbai. And finally one morning she received an e-mail from the hospital to join for 6 months internship. she again crossed a one more big step towards her dream and this was to be certainly the big one. She was at the top of sky. And the last year result was announced within 10 days of the mail. She finally completed all the theoretically and now had opened her wings for the last step for her dream. She went Mumbai to the famous hospital for her best internship work and to learn in her field. ‘With the white Dr. coat and the stethoscope in the pocket standing at the roads of the hospital.’ Was like her dream came true.
Finally, it was the day when she arrived back after 6 months, to her small town and all of them were waiting for her at the railway station the give her a warm hearted welcome. By reaching there she had gone to the flash back of the whole journey of her dream. That moment when she foot down her step back to her town and hug her family with happiness of the name said to be: ‘Dr. Alak’ was the most proud for her.
